2000 ford taurus tranny leak (bad)?

i have a 2000 taurus with the DOHC there's a tranny leak at the back of the gear box there's some type of rubber cap and i haven't taken it off yet but it does not leak unless the car is hot and running for a bit some time it will stick going down the road and the RPMs will go up and the car goes no where

better be checking on the fluid. it sounds to me like you have a seal leaking and the transmission is going low.
