2000 dodge stratus transmission problem!!!?

my car quit shifting into drive and will only go into low gear also the speedometer stopped working all at the same time ...what could this be from?...i have a 2000 dodge stratus with a 2.4L engine...feel it may be electrical but not for sure ...HELP!!!!!
 
I had a problem with my 99 Dodge minivan not shifting and it was a sensor in the transmission. It locked the transmission in a low gear to keep the transmission from damaging itself.

Did your check engine light come on. Take it to a auto zone or other parts store. Most will check the codes for free and they might be able to tell you what is wrong.
