I live in WA my engine starts overheating then it starts leaking antifreeze on the passenger side towards the cabin really bad I check the radiator reserve tank & its at normal. I cant turn the heat on to cool it down like normal b/c it pushes out freezing cold (outside temp) then when it gets hot it starts having white smoke come up from the vents. I tried fixing it a month ago when my heater stopped working & was blowing cold air by pouring water into the radiator hose to get the bubbles out & I had some bubbles come out like normal when the engine is running. could water have frozen in the engine & blown the gasket. what would be the best way & cheapest way to fix this b/c I'm too scared of blowing the engine but at the same time broke while looking for a job & that's the last vehicle I have.
