We have a 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan LE and have been experiencing some electrical problems. The biggest problem is with the turn signals, which is also the first problem. After that, the passenger window(electric) began to have problems, followed by the ignition acting odd.
With the turn signals, they will work some of the time, then not work at all. The hazard lights work fine, though. Later on, the right front turn light stopped working. This is likely just a burnt bulb, but I remember changing it just a few months ago.
The passenger window stated to show similar behavior, sometimes working, sometimes not. We have to avoid putting it down all the way, as it has stopped working when so. If it stops working, we can wiggle and pull the window until it begins to move again, but this doesn't always work. Also, sometimes when it is going up, it will act like the motor has weaken.
As for the ignition, it sometimes doesn't feel quite right when turning the key and is hard to put into auxiliary. Also, I find that fiddling with it(mainly turning it lightly forward towards the start position) can get the turn signals to work again. Because of this, this makes us suspect that the problems are coming from the ignition and that it is wearing out, but we are not sure.
Any ideas on what is the most likely cause of the problems(especially the turn signal problem) and a (preferably inexpensive) way to fix it?
