I have a 2000 Chevy tracker that has been having the same problem whenever the weather cools down.
When the car is running and reaches around 2000 RPMs the lights begin to flicker brighter and lower.
While that happens i can hear the engine slow down as if something was bogging it down or it wasnt getting enough power. The problem seemed to have stopped all summer but now that the weather is cooling down it seems to be back.
Any ideas as to what i could do to stop this?
Or where i should start to attempt stopping this?
Thanks for any help.
The flickering in the lights doesn't go away if i go over 2k RPMs.
At times the engine is also... 'skipping' i guess the word would be along with the lights flickering while i stop at stop lights.
If i put the car in neutral it stops while the car is at the light.
