I bought a 2000 Chevy S-10 and at first it was o.k. It ran fine, but now every time I turn the steering wheel, the truck makes a loud sound. When i turn right it rattles and squeaks underneath along with a loud moan. And when I turn right it moans really loud underneath. Both of these happens with just a slight turn of the wheel, like a inch. When the wheels are straight, then the car is fine. HELP, the noise is driving me crazy.

Check the belt tension that powers the power steering pump.
Check the level of the fluid.
Look under the vehicle to verify if the power steering pump is leaking.
Check the steering rack to see if it is leaking.

At the dealership we replaced a lot of control arm bushings for the very reason that you are talking about. Suggest that you have the front end inspected by a qualified technician so you can determine the real nature of your problem.
