With the amount of electrical problems that you are having it may take the dealership about an hour. Chevrolet is a lil broke now so they are going to charge you about $100.00 per hour in order to diagnose the problem.... err just toi tell you what is wrong with it..... . Their labor charges are about $15.00 more per hour than a BMW dealership and that wont include the amount, in labor, that they will charge you, per hour, in order to correct the issue. Their labor charge is about the same as the diagnostic fee so expect an easy $200.00 right from the start.
Next they will tell you it is probably the ignition module, which controls the electrical components that you are describing. This part is very expensive and on a chevy can range anywhere from $400.00 - $1000.00.
I can tell you that m,ost ignition modules on chevy;s are located on the inside of the dash board right next to the steering column and is connected directly to your ignition switch... err the thing you put your key in to start the car......
Your car may have a simple wirinf problem though so dont feel discouraged. Just prepare to put up about $200.00 for GM to diagnose the problem.... At any rate... best of luck.
