2000 Cadillac sls over heating. replaced the radiator, water pump and thermostat and it still over heats. the fans are working fine. It will sit and run forever and not get hot, then when you take it down the road the temp will jump up a notch on the gauge then float about half way back before jumping another notch. it stare steps like that until you shut it off. My guess is its a sensor but I don't know much about them. you guys have any Ideas?
PS: I don't believe its a head gasket ether because theirs no water in the exhaust, oil and no signs of it blowing threw the cooling system
