2000-2008 mazda 6 or a 2000-2009 mazda 3?

what is the better car?
im 16 and need a nice afforable car
just to get me from a to b
needs to be goodsized
i dont want a fast car but not a minivan material either.
which would be better for me and why?

my friend has a 2006 mazdaspeed6 (a turbocharged version of the 4 cylinder 6), which is really fast, it is also nice, there is a lot more room in it than the mazda3, but the 3 is also nice, as well as more efficient, also it has a faster 4 cylinder, because it is lighter than the 6, but both are good, i really like mazda, i have a cx-7 and i am really happy with it, so i think either one would be a good choice for a first car
 
i tell you what that mazda 3 is actually a very nice car. it has a decent power plant and great looks. so for a point a - b car, thats the ticket. if you really want to save money, go as far back as a mazda protege'. not a whole lot of power but a decent city car. happy shopping! :)
