I just bought a 2.7 Intrepid that it takes 30-60 minutes of cranking, on and off, to start the car. Once started you can cut it off and it will start normally, til sitting overnight and then same problem again. The engine light is on as well. If driving the car and trying to give lots of gas to it, it does a hi/low rev like a studder box on a drag car. Gradual acceleration and the car does fine. Any suggestions? Also after warming up the car at idle has the oil light flicker on and off. It was a fleet car with 144K miles and oil was changed every 4K miles. Was changed 1K ago and is very clean.
