...calories....? So I am a 20 year old girl and try to eat about 1400 calories per day- I have been doing the "insanity" workouts each morning and heading to the gym to run/elliptical for about 40 minutes 3-4 days each week. It has been 3 weeks and I have not seen any change. I am currently 5'8" and weigh 137 pounds - I'd like to get down to 130. The only thing I can think of is possibly adding more calories to my diet but im really worried that if I am not losing weight at 1400 calories I will gain weight if I eat more than that :'( also- I would think that if you kept up a low calorie diet long enough, you would get past the "starvation mode" and start shedding pounds-- how else would anorexic girls get so small? So should I up my calories- or just wait it out? I dont want to ruin my metabolism either but I have read so many different things that now I am just confused- thanks for the help....
