20 year break, Which Bike?

I Used to ride a CB 125 (plus a couple of 100's) have had long break but now looking at taking full test. Intention was to get a 125 again for a year then upgrade but guy in bike shop saying go for something bigger straight away. I do see his point as I may have to do some journeys of up to 70 miles each way, but I used to ride in the days when anything over 400 was getting into the big bikes catergory. Any suggestions?
 
I agree think a Honda Vespa would be right up your alley. I mean i clearly see you going through a midlife crisis and your questioning your hip factor. My suggestion to you would be the Vespa if you bought that thing you would get more tang than an astronaut.
