My almost 3 year old has enlarged tonsils and is complaining of throat pain since May (or so). i have taken him to the Dr's office, he was tested for strep & I was patted on the head and told that there was nothing medically wrong with my child. His sleeping patterns changed, he is NOT a mouth breather and his adenoids look fine, he does not have a rough sounding voice. He is complaining daily, often more than once a day. I see no other symptoms. I think Mono will top the list and have considered cat scratch fever, but would like to hear other thoughts. Thank you. BTW I have another appt. with a different Dr. and want to have a few things to throw out at the appt.
