2 quistions about a yamaha shaft 3 wheeler?

i just recently bought a yamaha shaft 3 wheeler it runs but white smoke comes out of the exhaust and all around the engine was wondering what causes that? and it will idael by its self for like 5 seconds need to now how to fix that?

White smoke is generally water going through the engine.If it is liquid cooled the you have a blown gasket.if air cooled then there maybe water in the tank.this is assuming it.s a 4 stroke engine.The same holds true for a 2 stroke but it may also be the oil injector pushing too much .
