2 Oklahoma Students to Be Disciplined for 'Death Note'

I actually thought that this would happen more often when Death Note came out. IN fact, I'm actually pretty disappointed at the lack of real-life controversies regarding Death Notes. I was actually looking forward to the deluge of complaints, but so far, other than a few blips, Death Notes haven't been as popular as I thought.

...mind you, he could have been just saying that to start rumors. AND even if I do find him annoyingly flaraboyant now, there's always the chance he could clean up his act.

...not that that means less screaming, obnoxious fangirls who probably wouldn't otherwise have incentive to TOUCH a manga/anime, and could in turn mean the movie makes big bucks regardless of whether it's actually well made.

On topic: I was reading on the Anime News Network forums this Oklahoma bit came from, one person said these third graders were burying each other in sand because they saw it on Naruto. What are third graders doing watching THAT?! O.O
