2 new Eseries phones E61i and E65

E61i and E65. The E61i - microSD slot, 2-megapixel camera and E65 slider has similar specs.

I would have to "agree to disagree"...I for one am happy to see ANY type of camera on the E61. It only makes sense for nokia to do this considering that many smartphones are beginning to be released with a cam.

...we all know it won't be autofocus anyway -

i think the one from M-R site was removed, but on M-R forum i think it is still there, i just dont join in M-R forum....


the e65 looks more of a fashion phone rather than business... and has the keys of the n73 or n95... if it is a fashion, then i think they might still change the name...
 
i must be the only one experiencing this but there is no information about any new nokias on that page, except for something about the fcc approval of the n00.
 
And keep in mind that this is Nokia's business phone series. Some security conscious companies won't allow camera's in their facilities. A camera on a business phone can actually be a disadvantage.
 
Very true. Although not always financially feasible (and there is little precedent for it occurring in the past) perhaps we can hope they would make two versions...because it seems like Nokia is doing just this.
 
true...but i'll rather it not have a camera seriously, since on my n91 i rarely used the camera when nokia sent me the proto.
 
I don't think they'll have a carl zeiss lens on the e-series devices, since they aren't meant to be multimedia powerhouses. The carl zeiss lens is more suited to the n-series devices.
