2 jl audio 12w7 2 kx1200.1 kicker amps?

iam am wondering if this set up is going to work, i know that the 2 amps can be lowered down to 1 ohm, but i believe that when the amps are strapped together they can only be lowered down to 2 ohms. So iam am wondering if the 2 jl subs that run at 3 ohms when hooked up to the both amps or should i just hook them up one amp to one sub or what iam kinda confused if you cant already tell
 
You're right, that is kind of a tough one.

If you were to wire each one straight, you would end up with about 450 watts per sub at 3 ohms. It would be a little under powered. But, it wouldn't hurt anything.

You may be able to get away with strapping the amps at 1.5 ohms. But, it's a risk. If it is possible, you would end up with about the same at 1.5 ohms.
