2 different boxes for same sub?

i had one kicker l7 12 inch and one ported box. I recently got another 12 l7 and i wanted to know instead of buying a dual ported box can i just buy another ported box and add it to my car?

I have a 2 Hifonics Brutus 1608D amp running each sub


also i have it wired to 4ohm whats the difference if i did 1 ohm?
should i do it?
 
For best sound, I'd def get a dual box and for the lowest price, just get it from Ebay
