I have a BS from U of I in Biochemistry...which was all MD/PhDs and PhDs I would like to get into patent law. I have been consistantly scoring 161 162 in practice tests and I will take the exam in october. I am also an underrepsented minority.

P.S. do extra curriculars count when applying to law? Can I mention and would it help if I some how mentioned I made it to the reserve team of the Chicago fire.

thanks

That would be a decent LSAT score, however your GPA is a little low. Extracurricular activities are useful when you are applying to Law School if you are able to incorporate the life experience you gained with attending Law School. For instance, someone who has been in the Military may want to become a JAG. Being a minority will help some as well. Good Luck.

You can find LSAT and GPA profiles under admission FAQs, which should give you an idea of what type of student the school accepted the previous year.
