2.2 upgrade or ROM for ascend?

Now that 2.3 is almost here, has anyone found a working 2.2 Rom for the Ascend? Or someway to upgrade?

There isn't any roms yet for this phone since there isn't a custom recovery console for this phone. We are working on it though. Stand by.

a custom recovery console for the ascend has finally been released. here is a link to the site. http://myascend.org/hacks/hacks-install-amonra-system-recovery/ i have installed it on my ascend and it seems to be working fine so far. now were just waiting on some1 to make a custom rom.

yea theres lots of cool hacks and stuff on the site for the ascend just wish either huawei or some1 would hurry and get froyo on the device
