(when you say 3.6 cu.ft. box i hope you mean for each sub, not total, because the box will be much too small for either setup--their recommended minimum ported box sizes are 3 and 3.5)

--RMS wattage
--frequency response
--cone surface area
--boy type
--sensitivity
they both have the same total RMS wattage
the kickers frequency response is 18 - 500 Hz and there is no info for the Orion's
you have twice the cone surface area with the kickers (two more subs)
a speaker that has a sensitivity that's 3dB higher than another will only require half the RMS wattage to achieve same amount of sound/volume and the sensitivity on the Orion's is the lowest i have ever seen at 30 vs 92.3dB (that's absolutely terrible)
