2 12's or 2 15's - subwoofers?

I have black Dodge charger and I wanna put some bass in my trunk. I saw 2 12 in. kicker cvr's on crutchfield with a ported box for $399 and an alpine 1000 watt amp for $399 which would bring it to around $1000 after I get a new deck and all the wires. Would I get a better deal at a local audio shops? Because I really want 2 15's but I want to know if the 15's are worth it
