I used to have 2 12" CVX's in a sealed box and then i had 2 12" L7's in a ported box,
all of the L7's ive had, newer & older ones only hit the highs and sounded muggy on the lows.
My CVX's sounded perfect on the lows but not so good on the highs.
So my question is, should i go with 2 12" CVX's and 2 12" L7's?
So i can hit the highs and lows?
Or were my speakers just messed up?
Has anybody else had these problems?
The CVX's will be ran off of a Kicker ZX-1000.1 at 2 ohm,
And the L7's will be ran off of a Memphis 16-ST1000D at 1 ohm.

tony, i meant the L7's only put out the higher bass notes and sound like crap on the lows. ive tried a whole bunch of different boxes and they still only sound good on the high bass notes.
the cvx's only sound good on the lows but not the high bass notes...thats what i was getting to.
I know how to wire subs and install and all of that but when it comes to building boxes tuning them and all that, i have no idea lol.
so if the boxes are the problem, do you guys have any suggestions? or any websites where it shows me how to build them? lol thanks.
