Car gave out P0171 - Lean (Bank 1) code: some hesitations and initial high RPMs were observed. Took it to a mechanic. He changed the air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs. Fuel injector cleaners were also added. The car was running fine for a week. Couple of days back I re-fueled (regular gas station) and today I experienced sputtering. The sputtering was bad this time, it appeared as if the car would stall at sometime.
What would be the real problem? What do I need to ask when I take the car to a mechanic.
