1999 Toyota Camry Backup Light error on dash?

Hello. I have a 1999 Toyota Camry and on the dash, there is a light that is indicating that the backup light are not working. It is off when you first start the car, but when you take it out of park into any other position, reverse, neutral, drive, etc....basically once it hits the reverse and beyond, the backup light error light turns on and will not turn off. But the backup lights are working. I know there is a switch/sensor on the transmission, but I forgot what the name of it is. Could someone tell me the name and the location on the transmission of this switch/sensor?
