1999 Pontiac Grand Prix, high mileage should i buy?

Okay so. In September i will be going away for college in NYC. It's only about an hour from where i live so i can come home a lot on the weekends and vaca. Until then I def need a car for the summer to get me to work and etc but since it'll only be for a few months i don't plan on spending a lot.

So I found a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix a V6
it has black leather interior
exterior is white
comes with a deck
everything looks in good condition
it is being sold for $1600 due to the HIGH mileage
it has almost 197,000 miles on it.

I know that is a lot but the thing is
I'll only need it to last a couple of years and that's a fairly cheap price.
i wont be driving it anywhere far during the summer
and not a lot next year because of college.
but its a very beautiful car

should i buy?
 
I would go for it. edmunds.com says that the car's private party value is $1700. I would walk in with $1500 cash and offer them that.
