I have a 1999 Mercury Cougar, & I've had to keep filling my gas tank up about 2 times a week, when it only used to be one, when I bought the car. I'm not exactly sure how many miles are on the car, when I bought it, or how much it has now. I was wondering what the problem could be. I go about 2 miles, to drive my boyfriend to work, and it says that I drove 14, and my gas gage, goes down to about a half a tank after I take him to work, Come home, Go pick him up from work, and come back home. I can't afford to spend 60 dollars on gas every week, with a newborn baby to take care of. What's the problem?
