1999 Mazda 626 Alternator?

Are the alternators the same on a manual and an automatic, also what years will interchange? I need to know before I head out to pull-a-part this weekend, my car has a manual transmission and most 626's I see are automatic. I was thinking the odds of finding a car just like mine we're slim.
Forgot to put that it is a 4 cyl 2.0L DOHC

These are suppose to all use the same Alternator. If you have a cellphone camera, take pictures of your old one. Especially the Input wire hook up, & the pulley. When you pull it out, spin the pulley and feel if there is any roughness. It should spin smoothly.
