Okay so here's what happened, drove my car to detroit from grand rapids. Get home and then the next day i was driving during the snow storm to pick up my little sister and my check engine light and the VSC (vehicle skid control) light came on. Then it felt like the transmission was slipping. I haven't changed the transmission fluid in a long time. Then today I drove to school, the lights shut off and then turned on right as i pulled in my driveway. The car then went from a idle at about 750 rpms to 2k rpms. Not sure what to do? I'm nervous i need help ASAP!
sorry forgot to add, i opened the hood after i pulled in the driveway and i saw very very light smoke comin from what looked like the under side of the car. It was about 20 degrees out so it couldn't of been that hot.

i just had the same problem with my 03 g35!!! the vdc light came on and the slip light came on and the speedo stop working.!!! the car felt under powered and caused it to jurk and when i stepped on the gas the car wouldnt go anywhere....the computer was taking over when the vdc system is activated the computer tries to take over and control you car.. it controls the throttle and traction to the back wheels at the same time... casuing the car to feel like its running on 3 cyl. the best thing to do and 90% of the time it works. disconnect the neg battery cable for 10-20 minutes and then re connect it.. that should do the trick...its a bug in the on board computer and something simple could have set it off like the brake pads being to low, or the brake fluid leve bieng to low.... but try disconnect the battery cable first and then write back to me and let me know how it goes
