1999 Ford Taurus, Struts, Help Please!!?

Im putting a couple struts in a 1999 Ford Taurus. The old struts have metal and aluminum holding them to the car. The aluminum and metal have oxidized together. Is there an easy way to get them to separate without ruining the metal or aluminum
 
You can try P.B.blaster or remove the bolt on the lower part of the struts and tap downward to see if it will seperate.Good Luck.
