OK I have a little issue going on with the idling in this car and I wanted to see if anyone has had this same problem or might know whats going on. To start its the basic 3.0L V6 no flex fuel or nothing just the basic, but what happens after driving for a couple minutes or hours it don't really matter, whenever I return the car to park the idle just shoots up to like 4000 rpms or even higher. I have to hurry up and shut the car of and wait like a min or two restart and its fine. For some reason whenever I stop the car and put it in park or neutral it does this it never occurs in drive or reverse. Occasionally if I have the car just running at an idle like to check the trans fluid or something after a couple mins it will do the same thing, its just really strange. I really have no idea whats going on I have no check engine light but who really knows if that works any ideas? Please let me know thanks
I did notice after driving to work back and forth the last couple days (I have like a 45 min drive each way) that it has done this every time I arrived at my destination after running for that long period of time
