1999 ford fiesta water leak please help?

hi i have a ford fiesta ive noticed there has been water leaking from somewhere thinking it was just one of the hoses i left it thinking it wasn't a big problem. but today i started it up and heard a nose got out to look and there was a big puddle underneath now i know it isn't a hose but what Else could it be? i think its coming from around by the fan belt if that's any help thanks for any help
and would the car still be driveable??
 
Yes more than likely it will be the water pump leaking. If it is, the only thing you can do is fit a new water pump. What happens is the sealing gland gets worn & it leaks water out of a small hole near the fan/pulley. As long as you take water with you & check it OFTEN You can run it, but not too far & not too fast.


This is not a big deal. In average hands it is a comparatively easy job.
