in mud snow and sand. HELP!? 1999 Ford Expedition EB All wheel drive. It makes a grinding noise when driving in mud snow and sand. It is a full time all wheel drive truck with hi lo option. When its on the road it makes no noise at all. But when I take it through any mud snow or sand where the traction is not there like there is on the road it makes a grinding noise that I can also feel in the steering wheel and it gets louder when turning the wheel also. Although it gets me through it it makes a disturbing grinding noise while trying. Anyone got any ideas? Thank you.
