I have a 1999 Dodge Intrepid With the 2.7 that will not turn over. We charged the battery, had it tested but would like to try again at another store. Replaced the starter, with a tested and working starter and checked the relays. When you turn the key you hear a rapid *Clicking* sound from under the hood, when it does this the dash lights and everything flicker at the same pace as the clicking. The flickering also affects any vehicle trying to charge the battery. We are pretty mechanically educated, but would appreciate some advice or even a solution. Thank you =P.
Yeah that's what we were thinking too, a local parts store tested the battery, but they might have been wrong.
We had a battery tested at a parts store before saying it was fine only to take it to a local battery specialist and find out it had a dead cell.
So I say we'll just have that thing re-tested, does anyone know what else it could be just in case though?
