Ok around november my 99 dodge durango 5.2L was giving me trouble. First, it started by running really rough and check engine light was on. It said that cylinder 2 malfunction or whatever. Then it started shutting off while driving. Well after sinking in a bunch of money and trying almost everything we finally tried replacing the PCM well we replaced it and it ran fine until just a few days ago. Me and my friend were going to his house and on the way down my road, my check engine light came on and its started missing. We got it diagnosed and its the same codes as last time, so we are replacing the PCM again.
I guess what I'm asking is not what the problem is, but what could cause the problem to occur.
Please help.
