1999 Dodge Durango 4x4?

99 durango 5.2 4x4 137k mi....I thought the breaks were sticking because when I would release them at a stop the truck wouldn't roll, It would go but was working really hard. I greased the caliper pins and inspected the break lines, all good (1/4" of pad on both sides). Now it is starting to make a grinding sound from the front and worse at turns?? Wheel bearings?? Would that cause the truck not to roll at idle when the breaks are released?? HELP!!
 
Jack up the front of the durango and see if you can move the wheels in and out at the top and bottom of the tires, and if you can see if the movement is in the bearing or the ball joints.
 
Start by checking to see if the emergency brake is sticking.
Make sure the pedal is all the way up and if the cables are sticking.
If all that is fine then you may have a collapsed brake hose to one of the front calipers.If one is collapsed it not allowing the fluid to flow back and letting the caliper release.
The grinding noise could be the front brakes.If a caliper is hanging up the pads will wear prematurely.
Wheel bearings don't usually grind but howl going down the road.
