Hello everyone..

I already have a 300M with 95k miles. Love the car and all its power and comfort. the interior is in fantastic condition... the exterior could use some work.. my brother rear ended someone in this car. the damage isn't terrible but i can't stand it. the bumper is cracked near the bottom. one of the headlights is cracked. I'm not so pissed about that because both of the headlights are fogged and need replacing anyways. Right by the back passenger door is a dent with a scrape. it's pretty decent size.

So the color of this car is Bronze w/ tan leather.

I want to get the bumper replaced, have that scrape fixed, have angel eye headlights (from ebay) put in, and have 01-04 tail lights put on just to update the style. Finally, I'd love to have the car painted black. That's not a must, I just think it would enhance the car.

How much do you think everything would cost

The headlights/tail lights alone would be approx. 400
I don't think the front bumper would be that bad since they just have to put on a new one
They'd just have to pull out the dent on the scrape as I intend to paint over the car anyways..

So, a ballpark figure would be great.

Should I go to a chain bodyshop (Maaco) or just stick local. I live in the suburbs of chicago.

Sorry I really have no idea of the cost but did want to share a bad experience I had with Maaco. In all honesty you get what you pay for. I took my 1964 Bug there to get painted. I am not sure if you are familiar with bugs but the interior must get painted as well. They painted the car yes but they also over sprayed on the peddles, knobs, rubber around the windows and on the motor. It was also covered in bird poop when I went to pick it up. I was really disappointed because a blind painter with one arm could have done a better job. Your best bet is to look up the prices of all the parts you need. If you are at all mechanically inclined you can put them on yourself and take the money you saved in labor to get a good paint job. Try ebay or craigslist.com for your parts.
good luck hun
