It will turn over and start, but than die immediately..this problem started after we replaced the ignition..."The Key"..I'm reading on here that it could be a security thing.. body control module......If the bcm doesn't recognize the key properly, it won't give the ecm the signal to continue operating the fuel injectors. Thus, the start and stall.I replaced the fuel filter and the spark plugs.I also hear the fuel pump kick on when turning the key forward...My question is How do I reset the BCM..
Different key than the original, I got a new key..
I actually got it to start 2 times within the past month..2 starts out of like a couple hundred tries. It ran for 3 hours straight with no problems ..Than I turned it off and tried again..same problem, start and stall..

Sounds like a quick fix, but hard to tell exactly what it is. I would have the dealer fix it, because it will probably only cost an hour or 2 of labor, and that is like $150.

There's other computer control possibilities. The computer may need to see valid ignition and oil pressure signals. The computer won't allow the fuel pump to continue running if it knows the ignition is improper (valid crank and cam sensors as well) or that the engine oil pressure hasn't come up to the minimum required.

i bet its the key.your best bet is to go back to where you had the key made and make sure they gave you the correct one that goes with your security system.

You really need to get a technician to reset that,or go to autozone parts store and let them do the service engine light test and they may be able to reset it.
