My Service Engine light has been on for a few weeks. Codes pulled Cylinder 4 Misfire/TCC Solenoid.
I noticed when going up a hill by my house that is 35mph speed limit when I drive at say 37mph then slow down to 35mph I notice a kind of soft kick, I'm not sure if its just down shifting. I played with it by going to just above 35mph then slowing down by taking my foot off the gas, once I got to the top of the hill I went to 7-11. I pulled into the parking lot and had to back up and repark myself. When shifting into R then D then P the car jerked really really hard and was idling at 2k. I turned it off and turned it back on and all was fine.
Today, at the end of my drive to work when I was getting off the freeway and making a left onto the street my car cut out on me with no warning. I was able to stop and turn it back on. As I got to work and pulled into the parking space the car jerked really really hard again but was idling at only 1.5k.
My normal idle is below 1k, but a bit rough. I was planning on having a tune-up done in a couple of weeks.
It has been sitting in the parking lot for about 4hrs now and I went outside and it was changing between P/R/D easily like before.
Is this my TCC Solenoid going bad?
