over but not start? So I looked up the code and found this.
P1031 - Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Heater Current Monitor Control Circuit Banks 1 and 2 Sensor 1
So, I was driving, everything was fine and out of no where the check engine light comes on and the car kind of surges, then the battery light and oil light came on and the car pretty much had shut itself off at that point. I looked up the codes for the car and it said P1031 Current.
The car will now turn over but not start. I know the 3 things it needs is fuel, compression and spark. Well the fuel pump sounds like its turning on to be honest. And I'm fairly certain the spark plugs and compression is fine. So is it my oxygen sensor that caused this? I had it pushed into the mechanic it died in front of but its late so I won't be able to call them till the morning. If anything when I go there I'd like to go there with some more knowledge. PLEASE HELP IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING!
