1999 Acura 3.2 TL Catalytic Converter?

My check engine light has come on and my mechanic states that the code is a bad converter. The car has about 152,000 miles.

Can I keep driving the car without any problems?

What is an estimated cost of replacing the converter?
 
yeah, the catalytic converter is just an epa thing, it doesnt do anything for the performance. I would guess that replacing the converter is probably 150 bucks, (im guessing though)
