1998 Toyota Avalon repair costs?

I need to get the brake pads changed and the timing belt replaced. About how much would that cost? And while I'm at it, is there anything crucial I need to do? I just got a new battery, changed the spark plugs, changed the oil, replaced the air filter and replaced the alternator drive belt. The car has approx. 132,000 miles.
 
brake pads and timing belt run around 700-1000 with labors added already and parts all together
