I have a 1998 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 that I am, have a problem with. Every time I try to start it, it spews fuel from the carburetor area. I assume it's a stuck float. My question is, do I breakdown and buy a new carburetor or have this one rebuilt? What is the difference in price? Tough question; roughly, what will it cost to have a dealership do the repairs.
Any insight as to what I should do will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, running out of time to bike season.
