5.2 V8. I had this problem a couple weeks ago where only the relays would click and that's it. So far the starter has been removed and tested which passed, new battery installed, cables and connections checked, tight, and corrosion free, and platinum sparkplugs put in to replace worn ones. After all that, I got a jump and had a running Jeep for about 4 days. Now there is a click past the relays but the engine still wont turn and that is with a car hooked up to jump. Any ideas?

yes alternator problem , you need to check the cahrge with a miltimeter, it should be cahrging around 14volts with revs on, 13.5ish with lights on look for a drop in voltage or a none charge when testing...

Sounds like you could have something that is draining your battery every few days. If it isn't a light on somewhere it could just be a short that your mechanic may have to track down.
I have this same jeep except in the V6 version. There are two lighter plugs and the one marked power has power going to it all the time. Make sure you don't have a GPS or something that is plugged in and running your battery down.
Could just be a short that the mechanic has to find. Good luck!
