...questions)? Okay, I just bought a used 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited (not the 5.9), and when I test drove it I noticed an alert about the tail lights - checked them and saw that I had no reverse lights. The dealer fixed that while changing the oil and checking the fluids, etc.; however yesterday (about a week later) I am driving and the alert comes on again. I checked the lights once I stopped and they all seem to be working; but I still have an alert saying the taillights are out. What could this be?
Also, when taking hard corners, or sometimes in braking, the dome lights come on inside the truck, and an alarm dings. am guessing this is related to the jeep thinking a door is opening; is there any way to track this down?
Finally, I only got one keyless remote when I bought the jeep. I bought a new identical remote from ebay... tried to program it per instructions on this site (for a '93, but said to have worked)... and no go. Is there any way to reprogram the remote myself? If not, what is the cheapest way I can do this?
