Hi guys. What is the function of a transfer case in my jeep? when i am going up hill, just before the trans shifts from 1st to second, at about 220 rpm, the car stutters. could this be the transfer case? shifts just fine on the flats. hope you can help me figure this out.
I think I should add that my car is a 4.o 6cyl. two wheel drive. transfer case seems to be with 4wheel drive but im not sure.
