1998 jeep cherokee 4.0. overheating?

it started as a waterpump froze up had new waterpump put on then drove it about a day and still heating up had new elitric fan put on works for about 1 day again... take it back in the shop and have them change the thermostate nope still heating so went 2 a advance auto parts store told him the story he said the altonator it my be putting a charge on the battery but not on the fan and the radior is flowing good and is clean as a chrome
 
sounds like a temperature sensor is bad.it tells the fan when it is time to kick on and off.also check all plugs to make sure they are clean and together
