my check engine light recently came on, when they checked the diagnostic code they said it was P1456 which means EVAP leak. I have heard this usually means you didn't tighten your gas cap. I tightened my gas cap but the light is still on. How long will this take for the light to go off? and if it doesn't go off what other things could be wrong?
