I bought this cool little car cheap because it needed the head gasket replaced and some transmission work. Well, I replaced two of the tranny solenoids (COMPLETELY fixed the shifting problem) and replaced the head gasket (No more white exhaust on cool days & MUCH more power).
The car runs fine except for this:
Shortly after starting the car, I put it in drive and go..then without moving my foot off the accelerator, suddenly, I lose all engine power and have no acceleration. Then after 2-3 seconds it will jump right back to full force. This will happen 2 or 3 times but then it runs great for the rest of the trip!
This happens EVERY time I start the car.
Also this is probably not relevant, but I hear this loud high pitched noise when moving at high speeds (I noticed it changes with shifting)
The car has new oil, new spark plugs, new head gasket, new shift & linear solenoids, new Honda tranny fluid.
Any suggestions??
