...about a used one?
Found a used one, a bit rusty outside but no cracks. Any way I can remove the rust like painting, oiling it, etc.? I just want it to last longer. Thanks.
After market is usually fine, as long as its a reputable brand. I have bought used parts from people before and got screwed, so if you buy used, make sure you get the parts inspected by a mechanic first!
After market or used (make sure no visible cracks) is ok. Make sure you use a new good gasket. Ekhaust manifolds are simple, kind of hard for them to screw them up. I would probably go with used before after market though.
